01Day 1 · Settle the family into GuangzhouGuangzhou

Start with familiar comforts and an easy first look at southern China.

Morning: Arrive and connect with your planned transfer. Confirm the children’s ages, routines and luggage needs, with time to rest after the journey.
Afternoon: Check in and explore the immediate neighbourhood. An earlier arrival may allow a short Pearl River walk, without a timed headline attraction.
Evening: Choose congee, wonton noodles or home-style Cantonese food independently, then return for an unhurried first night.

02Day 2 · Lingnan courtyards and Xiguan streetsGuangzhou

Make space for small details as well as the city’s landmarks.

Morning: Plan a visit to the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, looking for carved architectural details and stories that children can follow.
Afternoon: After lunch and a break, explore a manageable stretch around Yongqing Fang and Enning Road, with shops or a cultural venue chosen to suit your interests.
Evening: Enjoy an independent dim-sum meal or dessert stop. Families can leave the evening free instead of adding another major activity.

03Day 3 · From the city towards Yingde tea countryGuangzhou → Yingde

Treat the transfer as part of the journey rather than a gap to fill.

Morning: Pack after breakfast and travel towards Yingde at an agreed time, allowing for road conditions and a family rest stop.
Afternoon: Check in, have lunch and take a proper break. If energy allows, choose a short nearby country walk for a first look at the surrounding hills.
Evening: Have dinner independently and enjoy relaxed time around your accommodation. Keep the evening simple for younger travellers.

04Day 4 · Discover the story inside a cup of teaYingde

A local tradition can become a shared family memory.

Morning: Visit an available tea garden or tea-culture venue by prior arrangement. Learn about black-tea production and observe the plants in permitted areas.
Afternoon: Choose a tea tasting, short craft session or tea-themed experience according to the season and the venue’s programme, followed by free time.
Evening: Try local home-style food independently or spend a quiet evening looking through the day’s photographs.

05Day 5 · On to Shaoguan, with room to pauseYingde → Shaoguan

Give travel, check-in and family routines their own place in the day.

Morning: Leave Yingde using the transport confirmed in your proposal. Keep the transfer straightforward rather than adding another full scenic area en route.
Afternoon: Arrive, have lunch and rest. A later outing can be a short riverside walk or a gentle introduction to the area near your hotel.
Evening: Choose dinner independently and discuss the next day’s walking distance and suitable Danxiashan viewpoints with your planner.

06Day 6 · Choose your own pace in DanxiashanDanxiashan

Look closely at the red-rock landscape without trying to cover every corner.

Morning: Visit when the scenic area is open and conditions suit. Begin with an accessible open viewpoint route; reaching a summit is not a requirement.
Afternoon: Continue around a suitable part of the Zhanglao Peak area or choose a gentler water-based view, depending on fitness and operation. These are alternatives, not a packed checklist.
Evening: Return to your accommodation for rest and an independent dinner, with time to enjoy the day’s photographs.

07Day 7 · Return towards Guangzhou and travel onwardShaoguan → Guangzhou

Let the departure connection lead the final day.

Morning: Pack after breakfast and travel from Shaoguan according to your confirmed connection. An early flight may require returning to Guangzhou the previous evening.
Afternoon: Connect with the agreed airport or station. A late departure may allow a short independent outing after luggage and transfer arrangements are settled.
Evening: Continue home or to the next part of your China journey. Discuss extra nights or changed transfers in advance.

What the starting price means

The pricing basis

From US$628 per adult for a private party of 4 adults, sharing twin/double rooms. Arrival and departure days count towards the trip length. Children, single rooms and other party sizes require a separate quote.

Service scope

A flexible Guangzhou–Yingde–Shaoguan family route. Children’s prices, admissions, hotels and intercity travel are specified in your personal quote. An English-speaking guide is an additional service and is excluded from this starting price.

Costs to confirm separately

International flights, visas, lunches and dinners, personal spending, single-room supplements, optional experiences and any service not listed in the written quote are excluded. Peak dates and limited availability may change the price.
